Captain Jamie was instilled with a love of the water at a young age by his parents. Having grown up plying the waters of the Finger Lakes, he joined the United States Coast Guard, where he served aboard the USCGC Decisive (WMEC 629) and the USCGC Escanaba (WMEC 907), and at COMSTA Boston in Marshfield, MA., where he met Sully. He currently holds a USCG Licensed Master 100GRT. Capt. Jamie and his wife, Heather have three sons, who also work for the business, and spend their summers traveling on their boat.
An Upstate New York native, Sully grew up enjoying and navigating the St. Lawrence River. His love of the water naturally directed him to a career in the United States Coast Guard. Having spent 23 years on active duty, Sully's experiences include being directly involved in the search & rescue efforts of "The Perfect Storm" while stationed aboard the USCGC Tamaroa (WMEC 166) where he was awarded the Coast Guard Medal for extraordinary heroism. He also served as a helicopter rescue swimmer in Miami, Kodiak and the Great Lakes. Sully retired in 2013 as a Chief Warrant Officer - Marine Safety Inspector. He currently resides in the Philadelphia area with his wife Kelly, and their son Declan.
